FACLA TURNED HFT FIESTA ON NOV 29-30 TO TAWID-BAHA RELIEF FUNDRAISERS

Los Angeles—The Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA) turned its Historic Filipinotown Fiesta on November 29 and 30 into a relief drive PROJECT TAWID-BAHA into a fundraisers.

In a joint observance of the traditional Thanksgiving Day in the United States and Andres Bonifacio Day commemorated in the Philippines. This year 2013, is the 150th Anniversary of the birth of the Great Plebian and the Founder of the Katipunan. Gat.Andres Bonifacio

FACLA also launched the TAWID-BAHA Relief Drive that will raise needed funds for Thypoon Yolanda victims in the Visayas. At present FACLA has raised a $ 1,700 for the relief drive.

Cultural Shows

The festivities will feature cultural shows, reunions and dancing party on November 29 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

On November 30, Bonifacio Day, the event will feature sports, exhibits and reunion from 9:00 AM to 12;00 PM.

The donation is $ 25.00 for all events and activities on November 29-30, 2013
