FACLA’s Programs and Projects

FACLA serves the Filipino-American community with a variety of projects and services. These are Community Services, Cultural Empowerment, Issue Advocacy and  Basic Services.

Community Services

FACLA conducts regular community clean-ups, collaborates with other non profits for immigration services to the immigrant communities  like its monthly feeding and food distribution program, health services, wellness, fitness . FACLA also embarked on a affordable housing and building development program (BDP) in the coming years.

Community Empowerment  Advocacy

FACLA is active in issue advocacy like the Justice for Filipino World War II veterans and widows, the Temporary Protection Status (TPS) for the Philippines and genuine immigration reform in the US Congress and  empowerment for the Filipino-American community. FACLA has a weekly TALAKAYAN every Thrusday and  is also active in the disaster relief for the Philippines  with its  TAWID BAHA Project (TBP) since 2013.

Cultural  Empowerment

FACLA acts as cultural center for the community. FACLA has the  Cultural and Youth Group that showcase the Fil-Am culture and arts. It has been a home for arts exhibits, cultural forums and spearheaded the Annual Historic Filipintown PH Independence Day Parade since 2013.  FACLA has been the partner of Fil-Am youth with JFAV, conducting Historic Filipinotown Tours and has a weekly dancing activity every Wednesday.

Basic Services/Hall for Rent

FACLA  offers its spacious social hall for rent. Its Rates are the following:

  • Friday, Saturday and Sundays—fixed rate of $ 1,950 for the hall from morning till 12:00 Mid Night ( with 2 security guards, 45 parking spaces, chairs and tables)
  • Mondays to Thursday: $ 100 per hour for private functions ( negotiable)
  • Non Profit Rate; $ 50 per hour ( still negotiableParking Spaces For Rent-  FACLA offers parking services for companies who needed parking. FACLA has 45 spaces for rent. This is negotiable.

FACLA also accepts translation services in Tagalog, Ilocano, Pampango and Cebuano languages. Please contact the manager at  for more information
