Los Angeles – CELEBRATE FREEDOM and LET FREEDOM RING!’

The Knights of Rizal-Historic Filipinotown Chapter and the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA cordially invite the public in the celebrations of 29th Anniversary of the EDSA People’s Power Revolution, February 1986 on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the FACLA Social Hall.

Anti Martial Law Activist Speaks

Invited speakers are known Los Angeles and US anti-martial law stalwarts Atty, Roman Mosqueda, Dr. Lapuz and Andrea Aquino of the Ninoy Aquino Movement.

On four days of February 22-25,1986 millions of Filipinos converged on EDSA and held the People’s Uprising that ended the corrupt and brutal 14 years rule of dictator Ferdinand Marcos.

There will numbers from the youth group– the Kabataang maka-BAYAN (KmB )ProPeople Youth and there will be music, and entertainment provided by Maestro Buddy Reyes and Letty Reyes and their BAND.

Tickets for the EDSA dance –party and celebrations is $ 10.00 but any donations are accepted.

What: Personal registration of new members and renewal of membership.

When: Starting January 01 2015 thru May 31, 2015

With whom: Office Manager and/or members of membership committee

Where: 1740 West Temple Street, Los Angeles CA 90026

Why: Very important!!! Non-payment of membership fees for at least
two (2) years will result in the cancellation of a member’s name from the membership roster. It is imperative for persons interested to run as a director or vote in the forthcoming Nov 2015 Facla general elections to register/renew their membership during the reglementary registration/renewal period. Failure
to do so will result in disqualification to run and/or vote.
