FACLA and PCG-LA to Hold First Philippine Independence Day Grand Parade in Historic Filipinotown on June 8 , 2013

Los Angeles – The Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA) in collaboration with the Philippine Consulate General  of Los Angeles will hold the the First 115th  Philippine Independence Day Grand Parade in Historic Filipinotown Los Angeles on Saturday, June 8 , 2013 starting at 8:30 AM

The starting and ending point of the parade and festivities will be at the Filipino American Community of Los Angeles (FACLA) Compound 1740 W. Temple St. Los Angeles. 90026

FACLA is calling on all Filipino American organizations especially the Filipino American youth groups in Southern California to participate.

How to participate:

1.FACLA’s theme will be to present the Philippine Mayflower Festival or the Santacruzan. Therefore we call on all who are interested to join as “Sagalas” to enlist and contact FACLA and be one of the “ sagalas “ or “ concortes during the parade.

The deadline for participants will only be up to May 30, 20122. Participating Organization can join and contact FACLA and be in the FACLA and the HFNC contingent. The deadline for participation is also May 30, 20133. All those who want to donate and help in the preparations can contact the Kalayaan 2012 Logistics Committee headed by FACLA c/o Art P.
